Welcome to Zen Community Care. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us
Zen Community Care provides disability support services, including but not limited to:
Community Nursing
Assistance with Personal Activities
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Travel & Transportation Support
Community Access
We operate in accordance with applicable Australian laws and, where relevant, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards and Code of Conduct.
2. Eligibility to Use Our Services
To access our services, you must:
Be eligible for disability support services (including NDIS participants where applicable), or
Be legally authorised to act on behalf of a participant (e.g., guardian, nominee, or authorised representative).
By engaging our services, you confirm that all information provided to us is accurate and complete.
3. Service Agreements
All services provided by Zen Community Care are subject to a formal Service Agreement.
The Service Agreement will outline:
Scope of supports
Fees and payment arrangements
Duration of services
Cancellation policies
Responsibilities of both parties
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and an executed Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will prevail.
4. Bookings and Cancellations
Bookings
Support services must be booked in advance and confirmed by Zen Community Care.
Cancellations
Cancellation requirements will be outlined in the Service Agreement. Generally:
Cancellations may require a minimum notice period.
Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur fees in accordance with NDIS pricing arrangements (where applicable).
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including staff availability or safety concerns.
5. Fees and Payments
Fees for services are:
Based on agreed rates in your Service Agreement
Aligned with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements (where applicable)
Subject to change if pricing guidelines are updated
Payments may be:
Claimed directly through the NDIS (plan-managed or NDIA-managed participants)
Invoiced directly to self-managed participants
Failure to make payment may result in suspension of services.
6. Participant Responsibilities
Participants (or their authorised representatives) agree to:
Treat staff with respect and dignity
Provide accurate and up-to-date information
Notify us of any changes to health, contact details, or funding
Ensure a safe environment for staff providing supports
Comply with agreed schedules and arrangements
Zen Community Care reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if staff safety is compromised.
7. Our Responsibilities
Zen Community Care is committed to:
Delivering services in a safe, respectful, and professional manner
Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and NDIS standards
Respecting participant rights, dignity, and privacy
Maintaining appropriate qualifications and training for staff
Handling complaints promptly and fairly
8. Website Use
By using our website, you agree:
Not to misuse the site or attempt unauthorised access
Not to upload malicious or harmful content
That all information provided via forms is truthful
We reserve the right to restrict access to users who violate these conditions.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, branding, logos, graphics, and design, is the property of Zen Community Care unless otherwise stated.
You may not:
Reproduce, copy, distribute, or modify website content
Use our branding without written permission
10. Privacy

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Zen Community Care is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services.
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including emergencies, natural disasters, or government restrictions).
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We encourage open communication and aim to resolve concerns promptly.
If you have a complaint:
Contact us directly in writing or by phone.
We will acknowledge and investigate the matter.
We will aim to resolve the issue in a timely and fair manner.
If the matter cannot be resolved internally, participants may contact relevant regulatory bodies, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (where applicable).
13. Termination of Services
Services may be terminated:
By mutual agreement
In accordance with the Service Agreement
Due to breach of Terms
Due to safety risks
If funding ceases
Termination procedures will follow the notice requirements outlined in the Service Agreement.
14. Changes to These Terms
Zen Community Care may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
